SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 28 – Keith Drew was in the
Otis Bantum Correctional
Center when he was refused a
refill of his asthma
medication. He
sued.
On
February 26, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
One of the
defendants, Dr. Michael
Latunji, is apparently
deceased.
Judge Koeltl
directed the defendants to
file a notice of death
pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P.
25, with Drew then having 90
days to substitute of dismiss
that claim.
The case is Drew
v. City of New York et al.,
19-cv-4067 (Koeltl)
