SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 8 – Ngoc Mahn Nguyen and
Vicky and Dat Ho are charged
with defrauding the US
Paycheck Protection Program
meant to assist businesses
during the COVID pandemic.
They used
nail and spa businesses in the
Bronx, Brooklyn and Long
Island.
On July 8,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Valerie E. Caproni held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
There are
a related case in the Eastern
District.
For the
SDNY case, Judge Caproni said
pre-trial motions are due by
October 1, with another
conference set for November
18.
The case
is US v. Nguyen, et al.,
21-cr-403 (Caproni)
