Edible Arrangements in Upper Manhattan Is Sued For Lack of Overtime Status Due July 16

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Jan 25 – Anastacia Sanchez sued 200 Candy Corp d/b/a Edible Arrangements and Baqar Shah for failure to pay overtime and spread-of-hours pay. The 200 refers to 200 Dyckman Street in Upper Manhattan, where the plaintiff cut fruit.

On January 25, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge John P. Cronan held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

A mediator was assigned on December 3, but it has not worked.

Judge Cronan assigned discovery due dates and called for a status letter by July 16, to include notice of any intent to move for summary judgment.

The case is Sanchez v. Baqar Shah, 21-cv-2335 (Cronan)
