SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 21 – Jamel Murray was
charged with conspiracy to
distribute crack
cocaine.
On July 21, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Valerie E. Caproni held a
change of plea proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Murray
pleaded guilty. Judge Caproni
allowed him to remain free on
bond pending sentencing, but
advised him that jail time is
coming.
She said he
should get vaccinated, that
failure to be vaccinated will
not be a basis to delay
surrendering to the Bureau of
Prisons.
The case is US v.
Murray, 20-cr-667
(Caproni)
