Expand Its Body Sculpting in SDNY

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 30 – Erik Wiklund sued
medical device company
Soliton, Inc. and its
directors in connection with
its proposed acquisition by
Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie
company.
On August 30 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge P.
Kevin Castel held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
proposed transaction is
described as intended to
expand and complement Allegan
Aesthetics' "body contouring
treatment portfolio which
includes 'CoolSculpting
Elite.'"
Judge
Castel gave Wiklund under
Septemer 30 to file his
motion, and Soliton until
October 29 to reply.
The case is
Wiklund v. Soliton, Inc. et
al., 21-cv-5386 (Castel)
