SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 31 – Carnell Brown,
from the Bronx Park Avenue
Transitional Housing Facility
shelter, applied for an
apartment at the Eastchester
Heights housing complex, 3480
Seymour Avenue in The
Bronx.
But a long
ago conviction was used
against him to denying him. He
sued RealPage Inc a/k/a
On-Site LLC under the Fair
Credit Reporting
Act.
On January 31, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John P. Cronan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Brown's
old arrest was incorrectly
reported as being in
2019. Then there is the
failure to correct.
The case is Brown
v. RealPage, Inc., 21-cv-8421
(Cronan)
