SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 25 – Amazon has been
sued about its operations on
Staten Island and in Queens,
by the New York State Attorney
General Letitia
James.
On March 25, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge Jed
S. Rakoff held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Amazon as
defendant had removed the case
to Federal court, not in EDNY
but SDNY.
Remand to state
court has failed.
Now a final
pre-trial conference has been
set for August 17.
The case is
People of the State of New
York v. Amazon.Com, Inc. et
al., 21-cv-1417 (Rakoff)
