SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 24 – Rainmakers
Partners LLC sued Newspring
Capital for not paying it a 2%
finder's fee on $120 million
which is says are being
dissipated.
On August 24 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Rainmakers
asked for a preliminary
injunction and Judge Ramos
asked the basis.
Because the
money is being spent, he was
told. He was unconvinced.
He listened to
more, but denied the
injunction, citing the 2d
Circuit's Benihana decision of
2015.
