SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 3 – In a
multi-defendant crack
conspiracy case, defendant
will have to propose
sub-groups to be tried in, and
be prepared to switch into
another group if someone in
the other group pleads
guilty.
On August 3, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Valerie E. Caproni held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
One of the defense counsel was
not present.
But those who
were there were told, your
client might be transferred
into the group on trial if a
spot opens. But at least one
month notice will be given.
The case is US v.
Wilbright, et al., 20-cr-667
(Caproni)
