SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 9 – Alberto Nieves is
charged with being a felon in
possession of a firearm, to
wit, a 380 caliber
semi-automatic Ruger LCP
pistol. He is also charged
with having 380 auto caliber
Winchester silver-tip hollow
point case
cartridges.
On January 7, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Denise L. Cote held a
proceeding. Inner City Press

Already on
January 5 Nieves pleaded not
guilty before Magistrate Judge
Robert W. Lehrburger, and was
ordered released on $100,000
bond.
Discovery
will be produced in two week.
Judge Cote set a trial date of
June 20.
