Nov 22 – Louis Roberts paid
Justin Gitelis for social
media consulting - then found
$50,000 wired out of his bank
account. He
sued.
On November 22, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Jesse M. Furman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The case, and
costs, have progressed.
On November 22 Judge Furman
awarded Roberts a default
judgment of $315,201.37 -
including punitive damages and
pre-judgment interest.
Attorneys fees,
though, were neither requested
nor awarded.
The case is
Roberts v. Gitelis et al.,
