SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 14 – Ramos Mejia sued the
NYPD and several hospitals in
2016.
On December 14
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
defendants were complaining
that Mejia was not prosecuting
the case and that is should be
dismissed.
Judge Liman
asked Mejia if he wanted to
proceed. Of course, he
said.
There followed a
detailed discussion of medical
treatment and HIPAA forms.
Mejia explained
about a Charles Wang Clinic.
Judge Liman said
this is his last chance to
comply.
