SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 16 – Peter Rodriguez was
sprayed with a fire
extinguisher in his cell in
the Manhattan Detention Center
on August 21, 2020. He
sued.
On February
16, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Gregory H. Woods
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Rodriguez, who is representing
himself, began by referring to
misspellings and was told not
to waste time in the
conference on those.
But somehow
he was given the wrong name in
the complaint, Derek. He is,
in fact, Luis. It was said
this will be corrected.
The case is
Rodriguez v. City of New York
et al., 20-cv-9840 (Woods)
