In Captive Insurance Lawsuit Third Party Defendants Want More Time to Answer

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Feb 22 – Medmarc Casualty Insurance Company sued Clark & Gentry, PLLC seeking a declaration is it not obligated to indemnify the firm and affiliates in connection with underlying lawsuits arising from the firm's legal services related to their Captive Services practice.

For example, a suit by Benyamin and Orna Avrahami, business owners in Arizona.

On February 22, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge John P. Cronan held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Now third party defendants Robert Homer and BNC Insurance Agency want an extension of time to answer the third-party complain.

The case is Medmarc Casualty Insurance Company v. Clark & Gentry, PLLC et al., 21-cv-7224 (Cronan)
