SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 20 – Cable First
Construction sued Lepetiuk
Engineering Corporation in a
fiber optic cable installation
dispute.
On August
19, 2022 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Alvin K.
Hellerstein held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
The
parties described their
discovery disputes. Judge
Hellerstein asked how much the
dispute concerned and was told
$350,000.
Judge
Hellerstein said it was crazy
to keep litigating over that
amount.
He referred the
case to the assigned
Magistrate Judge, Valerie
Figueredo, to whom the case
was reassigned from Debra
Freeman on April 28.
