SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 30 – Aletha Williams was
charged with stealing checks
from a USPS mail box, and
setting up fake companies in
order to cash them.
Now on supervised
release, she has charged with
violations.
On March 30, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge Jed
S. Rakoff held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Williams pleaded
guilty to missing drug tests.
The AUSA
suggested putting off
sentencing to September 30, to
see if Ms Williams can get
drug treatment by then.
The case is US v.
Williams, 17-cr-744 (Rakoff)
