SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 4 – Brittney Biehner
works for the Catherine and
Count Basie Middle School 72
in Queens.
She has sued for
discrimination, citing among
other things Universal
Declaration of Human Rights
adopted by the UN General
Assembly on December 10,
1948.
On March
4, U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The City is
moving to dismiss, arguing she
can't pursue a "stigma-plus"
claim.
The case is
Biehner v. City of New York et
al., 19-cv-9646 (Koeltl)
