SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 17 – Diana Craigwell sued
New York City and its
Department of Transportation
for employment
discrimination.
On February
17, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Gregory H. Woods
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Woods told
the defendant that while of
course they are free to file a
motion to dismiss, it did not
sound like it would be
dispositive.
In fact, he said
he would not commit to rule on
it within three months of his
file, then might dismiss it as
moot when discovery ends and
say that summary judgment
motions / cross-motions should
be filed.
The case is
Craigwell v. City of New York
et al., 20-cv-8601 (Woods)
