SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 16 – Jocelyn Taylor sued
Bowmo, Inc. and its CEO
Matthew Kupferman for gender
discrimination.
On July 16 U.S.
District Court of the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Stewart D.
Aaron held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered
it.
Bowmo and
Kupferman had settled the
case, but then couldn't pay.
Their
lawyers at Olender Feldman
asked Judge Aaron to withdraw.
He said
Kupferman would continue pro
se, but that a corporate can
only appear through an
attorney. He directed
Defendant's counsel to file a
motion to withdraw by July 23.
If their motion
is granted, Bowmo will have 30
days to find new counsel.
The case is
Taylor v. Bowmo, Inc. et al.,
18-cv-10379 (Swain /
Aaron)
