SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 27 – Frye Retail signed a
ten-year lease on 1066
Wisconsin Avenue in Washington
DC - then stopped paying rent
in March 2020. The landlord
sued.
On October
27 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John P. Cronan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The parties
said they "do not consider
discovery essential to their
settlement negotiations,"
which included a counter-offer
on October 20.
Nevertheless the
talk was of staying any
depositions pending these
negotiations.
