SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 27 – Mayvelin De La Rosa
Martinez sued Harbor Express,
LLC for a motor vehicle
collision that occurred in
2013.
Now nine years later. on
September 26, 2022, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Valerie
Figueredo held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
At
issue were the transfer of the
file from previous plaintiff's
lawyer Ezra B. Glazer of 3021
Fort Hamilton Parkway in
Brooklyn to James K. Greenberg
of 240 Kent Avenue in
Williamsburg.
It emerged that
the two on a previously phone
call has sparred. Greenberg
had called Glazer by his first
name, Ezra - and Glazer had
not liked it. He'd replied, we
are not friends, and
apparently Greenberg hung
up. Now they were
hung up on $2000 of
photocopying costs.
Glazer said he
had to retain a copy for his
records; Greenberg said the
client shouldn't have to pay
for that. Glazer said, So I
get nothing? Ultimate it
sounded like he did.
The case is De La
Rosa Martinez v. Harbor
Express, LLC et al.,
15-cv-7458 (Daniels /
Figueredo)
