SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 21 – Amazon's Whole Foods
has been sued now for its
"Honey Graham Crackers." The
plaintiffs says Whole Foods is
misrepresenting that the
products are "containing more
honey and whole grain flour
than sugar and non-whole grain
flour.
On October 21 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Ona T. Wang
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Amazon and Whole
Foods are arguing that unlike
claims of "Whole Grain,"
saying "honey graham" cannot
misrepresent.
But how much
honey is in there, really? A
jury trial has been requested.
The case is
Campbell v. Whole Foods Market
Group, Inc., 20-cv-1291 (Woods
/ Wang)
