SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 17 – In an Oriental
rug slug fest, Jan and Jeffrey
Soleimani have sued Bergi
Andonian and Renaissance
Carpet & Tapestries for a
million dollars and to force
an auction in China.
On February
17, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Gregory H. Woods
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The defendant had
removed the case from New York
State court, at the
preliminary injunction stage.
The plaintiff
filed a website screenshot
listing Tabriz, Turkish
Ottoman, Indo Moumack and
others. Judge Woods has made
it clear he is not bound by
any other trial court.
The case is
Soleimani et al v. Andonian et
al., 21-cv-1018 (Woods)
