SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 21 –Sadie Maloof was
working at Columbia University
when Hodgkin's Lymphoma
returned. Then Cigna Insurance
didn't pay out.
On August 20 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
complaint says, Remarkably, no
one from Cigna ever conducted
a clinical examination of Ms.
Maloof. Judge Abrams said
discovery is due by December
15.
The case is
Maloof v. New York Life Group
Insurance Company of NY,
21-cv-3848 (Abrams)
