SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 7 – For selling marijuana
in and around the Mott Haven
Houses in the South Bronx,
Christopher Morales pleaded
guilty in 2017.
Now in
2021 he was charged with
violations of supervised
release including...
marijuana.
On September 7 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Valerie E. Caproni held a VOSR
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Morales
acknowledged the marijuana,
and not reporting to
Probation. There was talk of
absconding. Judge Caproni
asked Morales, Are you
vaccinated? He said no.
Judge
Caproni encouraged him to get
vaccinated. She set sentencing
for October 12 at 10 am.
The case is US v.
Morales, 15-cr-537 (Caproni)
