SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 29 – Braulio Rodriguez
was driving on the Major
Deegan Expressway in The Bronx
on September 16, 2020 when he
was hit by a vehicle owned by
3 Rivers Expedited, Inc.
He sued, and it
was removed to Federal
court.
On August 27 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The parties
did not consent to proceed
before a Magistrate Judge.
So depositions
are due by February 7, 2022
with a status conference
before that on January 7.
The case is
Rodriguez et al v. 3 Rivers
Expedited Inc. et al.,
21-cv-5843 (Abrams)
