SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 27 – Travis Breconidge
was charged with a crack
selling
conspiracy.
On
September 27 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Valerie E. Caproni held a
change of plea proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Breconidge pled
guilty to Count 1s, and
sentencing was set for January
10. Judge Caproni asked him,
Are you vaccinated? The answer
was No.
Judge Caproni
strongly encouraged him and
his family to get vaccinated,
saying that she will not delay
his remand at sentencing, if
he is given prison time, to
allow more time for
vaccination.
Judge Caproni
noted that some SDNY judge go
further - Inner City Press has
first reported on this - but
said she is making it a strong
recommendation, not a
requirement.
Meanwhile out on
Foley Square, there was a
rally against vaccine
mandates, and at the UN, a no
proof of vax / "honor system"
UN General Assembly.
This case is US
v. Breconidge, 20-cr-667
