SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 24 –
Teelach Seuranine sued the
Long Island Railroad Company
after his hand was crushed by
a so-called lollipop in the
Hillside Maintenance Facility
in
Queens.
On March 23, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John P. Cronan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Cronon asked what a lollipop
is. It took counsel some time
to explain, but finally they
did: a connector, big metal,
that crushed the hand. Great!
was said, meaning, it's good
to understand. The incongruity
was noted, and the case
management plan was accepted.
The case is
Seuranine v. Long Island
Railroad Company, 22-cv-117
(Cronan)
