SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 17 – Ignacio Carballido
is suing to salvage the hard
work he invested for the past
20 years building up his
mezcal brand, Los Amantes. He
has sued Global Beverage Team
LLC.
On March 17, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The mezcal come
from Distileria Tlacolula,
S.A.. GBT reduced the volume
of imports.
Judge Koeltl has
ordered that GBT must show
cause on March 30 why a
preliminary injunction should
not be entered against it.
The case is
