SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 8 – John Barker
sued his former employer The
Bancorp for bad faith
avoidance of its
obligations.
On April 8,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Katherine Polk Failla
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Barker previously
worked at TIAA then CIBC. But
The Bancorp stiffed him, he
says.
The
Bancorp said it wants to move
to dismiss, even though Barker
is being given the opportunity
to amend his complaint.
So the amendment
is due May 7, and any combined
motions on June 11.
The case is
Barker v. The Bancorp, Inc.,
21-cv-869 (Failla)
