Brews Foot Stands Trigger Americans With

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 29 – Namel Norris has
sued House of Brews on West
46th Street in Manhattan for
not being accessible to the
disabled.
On August 27 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The complaint
cites the "bar with fixed foot
stand higher than 34 inches
above the finish floor in
violation of the requirements
of 28 CFR Part 36, Section
5/2."
Judge Abrams
referred the case to the
Court-annexed Mediation
Program.
The case is
Norris v. 363 West 46th St.
Tavern Inc. et al., 21-cv-4458
