SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 1 –
Lynda G. Dodd was CCNY's
Joseph H. Flom Professor of
Legal Studies. Then she got
M.S. and was subjected to
special procedures and
heightened standards, she
says. She sued.
On June 1,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Paul A. Engelmayer held
a final pre-trial conference.
Inner City Press covered
it.
In the run
up to the trial, there have
been letters from Bruce
Cronin, Chair of the
Department of Political
Science in the Colin Powell
School, that a secret
recording of a meeting far
from proving his
discriminated, disproved
it.
Judge Engelmayer
issued a number of rulings, as
befits a case of a law
professor against a school. It
is a case we will follow.
It is Dodd v.
City University of New York et
al., 17-cv-9932 (Engelmayer)
