SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 6 –
Kiran Vuppala, in a
wheelchair, sued ONieal's
Restaurant and Bar of 174
Grand Street for being
inaccessible.
On April 6, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John P. Cronan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Cronan
advised the parties to seek
mediation, but nevertheless
set a schedule: discovery to
be completed by August 4,
2022. He indicated a
familiarity with counsel.
The case is
Vuppala v. 174 Grand Street
Corp. et al., 21-cv-6559
(Cronan)
