SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 14 – Anthony Varbero
has sued Anastasios Belesis
for legal fees for defending
him against securities fraud
and in FINRA arbitrations.
On January 14,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Varbero
says Belesis evaded payment by
using sham corporations to pay
for an extravagant lifestyle
including a Tribeca home,
membership in an upscale cigar
cub, and trips to St. Kitts
and Dubai.
Now a
problem is Belesis not showing
up for a virtual deposition.
The case is
Varbero v. Belesis et al.,
20-cv-2538 (Liman)
