Roman Pleads Guilty To Bronx Deli and
Pharmacy Robberies Now Sentencing Feb 16

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 1 – Alberto Roman was
charged with the armed robbery
of pharmacies in The
Bronx.
On November 1 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Valerie E. Caproni held a
change of plea proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
The charges
include the robbery of a
pharmacy at 493 East 138th
Street in The Bronx on
December 17, 2020 - for a take
of $60 cash, a gold chain,
credit / debit cards and
"several prescription
medications."
On December
23 there was 1286 Southern
Boulevard and on Christmas
Eve, 880 East 180th Street.
Three days after Christmas,
837 Home Street, a
deli.
Judge
Caproni accepted the plea, and
set sentencing for February
16, 2022. The virtual access
was appreciated, and it is
hoped it will continue.
