SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 19 – Solomon Sharbat sued
Iovance Biotherapeutics for
"willful failure and refusal
to pay fees."
On October 19 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Iovance
argued that incoming
substitute plaintiff's counsel
should not be allowed, as he
might be a witness.
They write,
"Plaintiff Sharbat has
testified under oath that Mr.
Schwartz instructed him to lie
in a FINRA enforcement
proceeding and physically
assaulted him and threatened
his life.
Judge
Ramos has ordered that Simon
Schwartz "submit a response."
The case is
Sharbat et al v. Iovance
Biotherapeutics, Inc. et al.,
20-cv-1391 (Ramos)
