SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 7 – Shaquille Dinkins
sued NYC Corrections Officers,
saying they had pulled down
his pants and underwear and
insisting in his complaint, "I
am not
homophobic."
On April 7, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John P. Cronan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
municipal defendants' lawyer
said he would reach out to
Dinkins with an eye to
settling the case.
Judge Cronan
asked Dinkins for his new
address, now that he is out of
prison, and directed the
defense to file a status
letter by April 22.
The case is
Dinkins v. Gustave, et al.,
19-cv-2336 (Cronan)
