SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 10 – Jazlyn Colon sued
Uber Technologies and others
for a car crash that occurred
on March 10, 2021.
On May 10, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Jesse M. Furman
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Furman said by June 10
the parties should file a
letter about settlement
discussions and if a referral
to mediation would be helpful.
Fact discovery
must be completed by September
6 - and counsel must meet for
at least one hour to discuss
settlement within 14 days
after that.
The case is
Colon v. Old Republic
Insurance Company, et al.,
22-cv-433 (Furman)
