SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 19 – Gerber Finance
has sued Volume Snacks and two
guarantors for $1.3
million.
On May 19, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Jed S. Rakoff
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Rakoff asked how a guarantor
could be considered a legal
representative.
There followed
many oral answers, which will
be supplemented by five page
single-spaced letters by May
25.
Then, Judge
Rakoff said, he aims to
deliver at least a bottom line
decision by mid June.
The case is
Gerber Finance, Inc. v. Volume
Snacks Inc. et al., 21-cv-507
