SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 17 – Michael Morales was
working construction in 71
Fifth Avenue on June 28, 2018
when the freight elevator he
was in fell several floors and
he was injured. He sued.
On July 16,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Louis L. Stanton held an
in-person proceeding. Inner
City Press went and covered
it.
A new
party has come into the case:
DPC.
And they are more
comfortable setting the next
conference for December 1,
rather than the suggested
November 1.
But if it all
comes together, depositions
and discovery, their lawyer
said December 1 might be
possible.
The case is
Morales v. 71 Fifth Ground
Lessor LLC et al., 18-cv-8040
(Stanton)
