At
UN,
Talk of
Turkish Jet as
NATO Pretext,
"End It In
July"

UNITED
NATIONS,
June 23 --
"This Turkish
jet is the
beginning of
the
end," a power
in the UN told
Inner City
Press on June
22, with a
view of the
East River and
a staffers
outside
conducting
opposition
research on
Syria's Assad.
"It'll
let
the Turks
invoke Article
5 of the NATO
agreement," he
continued,
smiling. "This
whole thing
should be over
in July."
Another
of the
three branches
of the UN's
world
government, if
you can call
it that,
had Secretary
General Ban
Ki-moon
claiming
through his
spokesman
Saturday
morning of the
"Turkish
aircraft
incident" to
be
"following the
situation
closely. He
hopes this
serious
incident
can be handled
with restraint
by both sides
through
diplomatic
channels."
This
is for public
consumption;
the other
power, openly
gleeful about
the Turkish
jet as
pretext to use
force through
NATO, not the
Security
Council.
If
the Council's
Chapter 7 is
not needed,
through the
NATO loophole,
then another
Friday
prediction to
Inner City
Press takes on
a bit more
meaning. "Look
for something
in the General
Assembly
soon," Inner
City Press was
told.
Those in
charge of the
plumbing
claimed they
didn't know.
But this is
not about the
plumbing, but
the
architects.
