NYS COURTHOUSE,
Nov 1 – Weeks after
Robert Durst was sentenced to
life in prison without the
possibility of parole for the
2000 murder of Susan Berman,
on November 1 he was indicted
in Westchester County, New
York for murder in connection
with the January 31, 1982
disappearance of his wife
Kathleen “Kathie” McCormack
Durst.
In
intervening years, Durst
mocked then Westchester County
District Attorney Pirro for
seeking publicity in reopening
the case; he also dismembered
Morris Black in Galveston,
Texas but was acquitted of his
murder.
Now Pirro's
successor Miriam “Mimi” E.
Rocah says “When
Kathleen Durst disappeared on
, her family and friends were
left with pain, anguish and
questions that have
contributed to their
unfaltering pursuit of justice
for the last 39 years."
During the
filming of the 2015 HBO series
“The Jinx: The Life and Deaths
of Robert Durst," he was was
caught on a hot mic speaking
in the bathroom saying, “What
the hell did I do? Killed them
all, of course.” He also did a
voice over to the DVD of the
2010 film, "All Good Things."
He is in a special medical
unit, with COVID-19.
Currently in
SDNY, there was a four hour
hearing on motions in limine
in US v. Ghislaine Maxwell.
