UN GATE, July 22
– In the United Nations from
which SG Antonio Guterres has
banned Inner City Press 1216
days for asking about his
complicity in the killing of
civilians in Cameroon and
their mass imprisonment by
China in Xinjiang, French
Ambassador Nicolas de Riviere
held a censored online press
conference about the Security
Council, following Guterres in
banning Inner City Press and
not answered its written
questions.
Now on
July 22, 2021 from the UN
Mission in CAR, in French only
and Google translated here:
"Bangui, July 22, 2021 - The
United Nations
Multidimensional Integrated
Stabilization Mission in the
Central African Republic
(MINUSCA) received information
on July 21, 2021 of the
violent deaths of several
people in the Bossangoa
sub-prefecture. A
joint UNPOL / FORCE patrol was
immediately dispatched to the
Bossangoa-Nana-Bakassa axis to
verify the facts. This patrol
confirmed the discovery of 13
lifeless bodies in Bongboto,
12km from
Bossangoa.
Immediately, MINUSCA
dispatched a joint mission
there, made up of UNPOL and
the Human Rights Section, to
investigate and establish the
facts. MINUSCA
will help shed light on this
unfortunate incident and
stands ready to support the
government so that the alleged
perpetrators of these heinous
crimes are identified,
arrested, and brought before
the competent
courts. MINUSCA
seeks the cooperation of the
government in this regard."
But what
about the UN peacekeepers'
rapes in CAR on which
Guterres, Stephane Dujarric,
Farhan Haq and now Florencia
Soto Nino refuse to answer?
This after
a French military jet fly over
which colonial Guterres'
representative praised: "Q: Recently,
Paris ordered
the overflight
of the Central
African
capital, by
two Mirages
just after an
interview
between
Emmanuel
MACRON and the
outgoing
Central
African
President,
Faustin-Archange
TOUADÉRA. Can
this assertion
of power be a
deterrent in
the current
context?
A: The
head of MINUSCA Mankeur
Ndiaye: 'At the request of
President TOUADÉRA, and in
agreement with MINUSCA, the
French President, Mr. Emmanuel
MACRON ordered a mission to
fly over the Central African
territory by fighter planes.
This mission took place on
Wednesday 23 December itself
and this action marks France's
condemnation of the attempts
to destabilize the country.
This "show of force" had a
significant psychological
impact.'"
So Guterres'
Mission "agreed" to the
fly-over of a country by
military attack planes of its
(former?) colonial master?
After
refusing to confirm reports of
troops moving to CAR, Dujarric
belatedly confirmed. And what
will happen where they took
them from, South Sudan where
UNMISS spread COVID with a bus
for national staff without any
social distancing, flying
infected international staff
in and out like Guterres,
violating the rules?
And from
Guterres, violating quarantine
in Lisbon, these December 26
robo-platitudes: "As Central
Africans prepare to take part
in the general elections on 27
December, the
Secretary-General calls on all
stakeholders to ensure that
the polls are conducted in a
peaceful, inclusive and
credible manner. To that end,
he invites all actors to
refrain from any action,
including violence, hate
speech and incitement to
violence, that could threaten
human lives and undermine the
electoral process and national
stability.
The Secretary-General strongly
condemns attacks against
civilians, humanitarians,
state authority and
peacekeepers, as well as
candidates. He calls on
national authorities to ensure
accountability for
election-related violence. He
urges signatory parties to the
Political Agreement for Peace
and Reconciliation in the
Central African Republic to
strictly comply with their
commitments and address their
concerns through peaceful
means.
The Secretary-General also
calls on all political
stakeholders and their
supporters to resolve their
differences peacefully,
including through dialogue and
appropriate institutional
mechanisms, in accordance with
national
laws.
The Secretary-General
reiterates to the people of
the Central African Republic
the continued support and
solidarity of the United
Nations. Stéphane
Dujarric, Spokesman for the
Secretary-General
New York, 26 December 2020."
Support like covered up child
rapes with impunity? These
people are criminal censors.
And on
December 24 he and Dujarric
and Melissa Fleming refuses to
answer this from Inner City
Press: "What has the UN done
and what is it doing to try to
prevent violence and fraud in
the elections in Central
Africa Republic (and what has
SG Guterres done about UN sex
exploitation and abuse
there)." Still no answer
- Guterres is a corrupt
censor.
And now from his
dubious spokesmant Dujarric,
another empty statement, with
Guterres stuffing his face in
Lisbon: "The Secretary-General
strongly condemns today’s
attacks by unidentified armed
combatants on Central African
national defense and security
forces, and the United Nations
Multidimensional Integrated
Stabilization Mission in the
Central African Republic
(MINUSCA) in Dékoa, Kémo
Prefecture, and Bakouma,
Mbomou Prefecture. Three
peacekeepers from Burundi were
killed and two others were
wounded in
Dékoa.
The Secretary-General
expresses his deepest
condolences to the families of
the deceased peacekeepers, as
well as to the people and
Government of Burundi. He
wishes a speedy recovery to
the injured.
The Secretary-General recalls
that attacks against United
Nations peacekeepers may
constitute a war crime. He
calls on the Central African
Republic authorities to
investigate these heinous
attacks and swiftly bring
perpetrators to
justice. The
Secretary-General reaffirms
the continued commitment of
the United Nations, working
closely with national,
regional and international
partners, to support efforts
to advance peace and stability
in the Central African
Republic. Stephane
Dujarric, Spokesman for the
Secretary-General." Corrupt.
The UN's actual
lawless impact on CAR has yet
to be addressed, as we wish
people there the best despite
the UN's colonial hypocrisy
and failure. Watch this
site.
France left CAR
without roads and with an
extremely low literacy rate,
while selling "Emperor"
Bokassa millions of dollars of
fur capes and Faberge eggs.
Nothing on UN peacekeepers'
rapes in CAR, including of
children, just like on June 19
not a word about the cholera
the UN brought, killing 10,000
Haitians. We'll have
more on this. Here
was Inner City Press' video
when it covered the Security
Council's mid 2017 trip to
Haiti, before it was roughed
up by corrupt Guterres' UN
Security and banned now 741
days.
On June 1
they took questions only from
pre-screened in-house
correspondents, ignoring or
even pretending not to see a
question about Cameroon by
Inner City Press. Twitter here,
Periscope here.
Neither
said a word about the
slaughter in Cameroon; they
did not answer Inner City
Press on-line question about
new cases of UN sex abuse,
including a child rape in
South Sudan by UNMISS data
dumped by the UN on June 1.
The
Program belatedly went up -
with countries on which the
two ambassadors ignored and
censored questions: DRC, Mali,
South Sudan. We'll have more
on this.
Back on
February 3, before Coronavirus
hit New York (but after the
first cases covered up in
Wuhan in December 2019)
Belgian Ambassador Marc
Pecsteen de Buytswerve held an
in person but also
friends-only press conference
about his upcoming month as
Security Council president,
with few questions on Africa.
Program of Work tweeted by
Inner City Press here.
Belgium,
of course, oversaw the
colonialism and killing in the
Congo. Its mission to the
UN,in 2018 and since, did not
respond to Inner City Press'
formal communications about
Guterres having it roughed up
and banned. Still the Mission
and Ambassador pontificate
about press freedom and even
the safety of journalists.
The next,
such as it was, is that Jared
Kushner will brief the
Security Council behind closed
doors on February 6 at noon,
when Guterres' spokes- /
hatchetman Stephane Dujarric
holds his noon briefing will
refusing all questions from
Inner City Press despite an on
camera promise.
