COURTHOUSE, May 20 –
Even when today's UN claims to
help, there's much less there
than they claim.
On May 19, hours
after UN Secretary General
Antonio Guterrres went from
his mansion to Mercedes refusing
Inner City Press' question
about his UNMISS mission
spreading COVID-19 in South
Sudan, his spokesman bragged
that UN staff in Cabo Verde
had donated their salaries to
fighting the disease.
Except
that the entire volume, it was
tucked in the transcript of a
Zoom briefing Inner City Press
was banned from, was "less
than $5000." Pathetic.
Cabo Verde is one
of the Lusophone countries
where Guterres' son Pedro
Guimarães e Melo De Oliveira
Guterres uses the UN's name to
profit, a murky bit of
nepotism on which Guterres and
Dujarric have refused every
question from Inner City Press
before having it roughed up by
UN Security and banned now 686
days.
Guterres should return all of
the money he has taken - not
only tax free from the UN, but
also from the convicted UN
briber CEFC China Energy,
links to the Gulbenkian
Foundation whose payments to
Guterres were omitted
from his online public
financial disclosure covering
2016. Inner City Press will
have more, much more, on this.
