UN GATE, June 8 –
In the United Nations from
which Secretary General
Antonio Guterres has banned
Inner City Press 1072 days for
asking about his complicity in
the killing of civilians in
Cameroon, poisoning them in
Haiti with cholera and COVID
in South Sudan, and their mass
imprisonment by China in
Xinjiang, on May 28 Inner City
Press wrote to the Mission of
Estonia, as incoming UN
Security Council president.
It put in
writing questions including
about Cameroon, Belarus,
Honduras, Yemen, Western
Sahara, Haiti and Libya. And
about Antonio Guterres'
lawless push for a second term
with all opponents blocked.
Ten days later,
no answers - and PR Sven
Jurgenson on June 7 emerged
from a closed meeting of the
UNSC and claimed that the
one-man election was the
height of democracy.
It is what they
woudl say in North Korea. In
fact, with Inner City Press
banned from the UN and its
stakeout, he was asked what
qualities of Guterres led to
his endorsement by the UNSC.
This group
Accountability, Coherence and
Transparency is a joke - just
an ACT. They support the ban
of the Press, and one-man
elections. Jurgenson still
didn't point to any written
rule justifying him blocking
all opposition candidates.
We'll have more on this.
Inner City
Press live tweeted Jurgenson's
beginning of the month
press-less press conference, here,
and will continue - watch this
site.
