UN GATE, Nov 6,
Exclusive –
In the United Nations under
Antonio Guterres, there is
nothing but failure and
excuses and fundraising on
crises like Ukraine,
Burma, Haiti and
Cameroon.
There is impunity
for sexual abuse by
peacekeepers and UN staff like
Juan Carlos Cunillera, just
"along for the ride" during
the UN
sex-in-the-van exposed
by Inner City Press.
But now as we
looked at and asked about
Guterres' omission of his
links to UN briber CEFC China
Energy, leading to him banning
the Press (and Melissa Fleming
continuing the ban, not even answering
a law firm's pro bono letter),
let's look at other officials
- this time, long time UNOPS
operative Vitaly Vanshelboim
(whom Inner City Press covered
in connection with UNOPS gag
orders before being banned
from UN by corrupt Guterres.)
More recently,
Vanshelboim's skeezed in the
S3i scam of UNOPS's Grete
Faremo, whom Inner City Press
will cover on her way out,
another corrupt Guterres-era
official), like Vanshelboim, here:
Two (2)
residential properties,
Ukraine
Two (2) residential
properties, jointly owned, USA
Annuity, ING, USA
Investment fund, Citi Bank,
USA
Investment fund, Danske
Invest, jointly owned, Denmark
What are the
statuses of Vanshelboim's
Ukraine properties? Either
way, no friend of Press
freedom.
Now Inner City
Press, banned from entering
the UN by corrupt Guterres,
exclusively publishes this
draft report, and this e-mail
chain:
Dear KPMG
Why have you not pressed UNOPS
and OIOS to provide the OIOS
investigation report of
S3i? How can you
make recommendations to fix
UNOPS without knowing who all
the corrupt officials
are?
We
would expect to see this
addressed more transparently
in the final report.
On Tuesday,
November 1st, 2022 at 2:59 PM,
Dear OIOS,
The attached
draft report dated 31 October
2022 states at the bottom of
page 1. KPMG had an
interview with representatives
of the Office of Internal
Oversight Services (OIOS)
during the assignment.
However, an investigation
report of S3i by the OIOS,
which has been publicly
mentioned, has not been shared
with KPMG. Why
not? What is UNOPS and
OIOS attempting to suppress
from this 3rd party review of
UNOPS by KPMG, the engagement
for which no doubt cost more
than 1 million
dollars.
Your Excellency,
Mr.
Secretary-General Who is
being protected by this
suppression after "The
Secretary-General [has]
accepted the resignation of
[Ms.] Grete Faremo, the
Executive Director of the
United Nations Office for
Project Services (UNOPS)" on 8
May 2022? We await your
explanation. DPF.
We'll
have more on this.
