SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 24 – While the UN
belatedly admits and expresses
concern that Tigrayan troops
in the UN Peacekeeping Mision
in South Sudan were suddenly
"repatriated" -- the same
thing the UN does for troops
from Cameroon when they are
charged with rape in the
Central African Republic --
its Secretary General Antonio
Guterres who refuses Press
questions now has a canned
statement:
"The
Secretary-General is deeply
concerned over the unfolding
situation in the Tigray region
of Ethiopia and its
surrounding area. Amid reports
of a potential military
offensive into the regional
capital of Mekelle, he urges
the leaders of Ethiopia to do
everything possible to protect
civilians, uphold human rights
and ensure humanitarian access
for the provision of
much-needed assistance. He
also calls for the free and
safe movement of people
searching for safety and
assistance, regardless of
their ethnic identity, across
both national and
international borders.
Stephane Dujarric, Spokesman
for the Secretary-General."
Dujarric has
refused all Press questions
about Ethiopia, and Cameroon,
and Guterres' son Pedro
Guimarães e Melo De Oliveira
Guterres doing business in
Africa while his father is
UNSG.
Today's UN is
corrupt and has not
credibility.
