COURT, Jan 25 – As the United
Nations has become
increasingly corrupt and
ineffectual during the rule of
Antonio Guterres, he has been
assisted by the UN
Correspondents Association,
with group dominated by state
media, many of them from
authoritarian countries.
China, for
example, has a veto on the
UNCA Executive Committee -
before Inner City Press quit
UNCA and then was roughed up
and banned
from the UN, now 571 days,
by Guterres, it was warned by
the Xinhua representative on
UNCA's board to stop raising
"anti-China" issues, or
else.
Now in the
UN Guterres has banned Inner
City Press from, this
untransparent travesty: "This
is a reminder that the annual
general membership meeting
will take place on Monday,
January 27th at 3:00 pm in the
UNCA room. The agenda is

Also, to continue our annual
tradition and to kick of the
new year, UNCA will host an
informal meet and greet
reception following the
general meeting with the
elected 5 non-permanent
members of the UN Security
Council at 5:30 pm in the UNCA
Room. The occasion has
always been to facilitate
interactions between diplomats
and the press corps with the
hopes of building good working
relationships moving
forward. Drinks and food

record" or will these scribes
bite the hands that feed them?
The food and drink will be
Italian, likely arranged by
Robecco's predecessor
Giampaolo Pioli, a gentleman
journalist who because his
wife is a Turkish pasta
magnate owns many apartments
in Manhattan, renting
them out to the diplomats and
UN officials he ostenisbly
covers, such as Sri Lanka's
alleged war criminal (in the
White Flag Killings case),
Palitha Kohona.
