UN GATE, Feb 15 –
Alongside the rotting out of
the entire UN system under SG
Antonio Guterres, corruption
in the UN Development Program
has also been expanding.
The
Ombudsman for UNDP, UNFPA,
UNICEF, UNOPS and UN-Women,
Giuseppe De Palo, completed
his five years term August
2020. The organization
regulation didn’t allow the
extension of the Ombudsman,
but the UNDP management
extended Mr. De Palo’s
contract.
Giuseppe De Palo
was a co-founder and chairman
of the board of ADR
Center in Rome, Italy.
Before Covid-19 he was one of
the many frequent travelers,
like Guterres to Lisbon, and
his travel expenses are more
than $150,000 -- but his
report can't be run by
internal whistleblowers,
because UNDP is locking the
report.
Whistleblower say
that he is still indirectly involved in ADR
Center. “Over the last
ten years, he has been the
team leader for several
multi-million euro consulting
projects to foster ADR on four
different continents.
Currently, he chairs the board
of ADR Center, one of Europe’s
largest private ADR firms."
Brazenly,
he recruited more than ten
staff from ADR to The UNDP,
UNFPA, UNICEF, UNOPS and
UN-Women Ombudsman
International Advisory Board.
Compare the names on the
following two sites (UNDP
Ombudsman, here)
and ADR Center, here.
For
example: Laila
Ollapally, Camilo
Azcarate, and Elena Koltsaki
(photos here).
Giuseppe De Palo is using the
funds and Programs resources
for his personal use.
There is no use of reporting
this to OAI because he is
highly supported by UNDP
senior management. And so it
goes in the UN corrupted by
Guterres, who today banned
Inner City Press for the 958th
day while lusting after an
UNmerited second term.
