UN GATE, August 2
– In the United Nations from
which Secretary General
Antonio Guterres has banned
Inner City Press 1227 days for
asking about his complicity in
the killing of civilians in
Cameroon and Nigeria,
poisoning them in Haiti with
cholera and COVID in South
Sudan, and their mass
imprisonment by China in
Xinjiang, on July 30 Inner
City Press wrote to the
Mission of India as incoming
UN Security Council president,
with questions including about
Cameroon, Nigeria, Belarus,
Burma, Honduras, Yemen,
Western Sahara, Haiti and
Libya.
A full day later,
no answers, including from
three staffers whom it was
emailed - and PR T. S.
Tirumurtie has taken hand
picked questions about Kashmir
and Pakistan, while banning
Inner City Press unlike, for
example, the IMF. A new low.
He confirmed: no
meeting planned on Burma. And
it sounded like he's dubious
of an in-person UNGA high level
week, for countries who cannot
or will not travel. We'll have
more on this.
Inner City
Press live tweeted T. S.
Tirumurti's press conference,
here,
and will continue - watch this
site.
We note: India's
Program of Work, on which
IndianUNNewYork
ambtstirumurti won't
take Inner City Press'
questions, has 3 meetings on
Syria, and NONE on Nigeria or
Cameroon, much less sexual
abuse cases by UN
peacekeepers, which Guterres
refuses to answer on
